That awkward moment when you’re so bored, and don’t want to play WoW.

Firelands Dailies..
Having one hell of a time getting attuned. Finishing the ‘call of the ancients’ quest in Hyjal. Only 2 left, Goldrinn and Aessina. But no more quests are available and the super awesome Blizzard support is averaging 3 days for a response. Just putting this out there to get some feedback so I can get the ball rolling on this!

The Triumphant Return

Oh how I’ve missed you Dexter. Dexter returns October 5th!
A lot of people panned season 5. I rather enjoyed it to be honest. I thought it was a little slow at first and they didn’t exactly know how to handle Rita’s death, except when Dex took out that random guy in the bathroom. But yes it was a little slow until episode 6 “Everything is Illuminated”. This is probably the BEST episode of Dexter, in my opinion. Never a dull moment, just one thing after another, BAM BAM! The whole shoot out in the club, everything. It was awesome and it really set up the rest of the season well.
I really loved the element of Lumen and what she meant to Dexter. We’re seeing Dexter slowly evolve into a “human”. Which is why it broke my heart when he was all excited to make her pancakes and she’s packed her bags. I think Lumen and Dexter were bandaids for eachother. They both helped heal an open wound and get rid of a lot of emotional baggage they were carrying around. Do I think Lumen will return? No. That story line is dead and gone.
My prediction for this new season, Deb is going to bite the dust. In my opinion, that is the only way they can take this and continue it. In the first episode Dexter says, “If I had feelings for anyone, I would have them for Deb. She’s the only person in the world who loves me.” But I think she is going to bite the dust and I think we can look forward to seeing Laguerta and Batista splitting up… If anyone cared. lol

Rewind Marathon: Six Feet Under
S1 E4: Familia

When I first watched this series, this is where I got completely hooked.
Fisher & Sons gets a new funeral this week as a member of a gang is gunned down while trying to use the payphone. The family ended up with the Fishers due to the fact that no other home would take them because of the possibility of violence due to the gangs. The home is in need of money and the family and the gang members continue to argue over the arrangements. So, they bring in Rico to smooth over everything.
The police are investigating the fire across the street and everyone has their eyes on Claire. David and Keith hit a rocky point when they’re slammed by a guy in the parking lot. While Keith becomes consumed with rage, David stands idle. Keith is infuriated with David for not sticking up for their relationship and their right to be together. Keith can’t believe his passive reaction to what the guy said to them. David, of course, still struggling with self acceptance.
Nate arranges a dinner with Brenda and the rest of the Fishers. Brenda being who she is, shows up early and gets Nate in a compromising position. Shortly there after Ruth, (in one of the best scenes- ever) discovers her son in this position with Brenda.. In the living room. Classic. She drops her glass and runs of course acting like nothing happened.
I really liked the end of this episode when the gang member gathers everyone together during Paco’s funeral, even the Fishers, and says a prayer for them and their loss and also for the loss of his friend. He expresses his gratitude to the family for letting them have the funeral there and reminds everyone about what family really means.
